HIV is a virus that spread through body fluids attacking the body’s immune system. It weakens a person’s immune system by destroying cells especially CD4 cells (also called as T-helper cells) that fight diseases and infections. HIV causes people to become sick with infections that normally wouldn't affect them. There are several stages of HIV disease, the first HIV symptoms may include swollen glands in throat, armpit or groin. Other early HIV symptoms include slight fever, headaches, fatigue and muscle aches and theses symptoms may last only for a few weeks.
