Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is used as a tumor marker to help detect and diagnose cancers of the liver, testicles, and ovaries.
Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is used as a tumor marker. An elevated or rising CEA level indicates cancer progression or recurrence.
CA 19-9 is a tumor marker that is used primarily in the management of pancreatic cancer.
Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test that is used to help detect prostate cancer or other prostate abnormalities.
Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG or b-HCG) is a hormone normally produced by the placenta during pregnancy.
