Thyroid Screening Package
Thyroid function tests are blood tests which help to check the function of your thyroid gland. They are mainly used to detect an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) and an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism).
A free triiodothyronine (free T3) test is used to assess thyroid function.
Free thyroxine (free T4) tests are used to help evaluate thyroid function and diagnose thyroid diseases, including hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.
A thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) test is a common blood test used to evaluate how well the thyroid gland is working.
When your immune system attacks thyroglobulin, a corresponding antibody is produced. This antibody is known as the antithyroglobulin antibody.
The thyroid peroxidase antibodies test is primarily used to help diagnose and monitor autoimmune conditions involving the thyroid gland.
